Mica tape is made of phlogopite mica paper or synthetic mica paper impregnated with a special silicon resin and a glassfiber cloth or PE film as supporting agent. These tape have great flexibility and high tensile strength, and their combined characteristics. They can be used to create inorganic, fire-resistant insulation for electrical cables.
Application:
Mica tape is used as the main flame resistant insulating layer of various flame resistant cable. The silicone resin binder in this tape we select is outstangding and there's no harmful smoke when it burns.
